Dear Miller Family,
I just returned from vacation and getting caught up w a weeks worth of newspaper. To my deepest sadness did I read of the passing of one of my favorite former students, Darla. Thinking of her has always brought a smile of happiness! Darla was truly one of God’s angels sent to share love and be loved. The first time I met Darla was at Highland School. Then, we moved to Roosevelt, and last to McCulloch. The last time I saw Darla was May 2014 when I retired and had a class reunion for all my former and present students. Darla had never changed! Still smiling, laughing, singing, dancing, but most of all, loving! My heart hurts from her passing. I wish I had been home to say goodbye to her. I will visit her at the Gardens of Memory. Sending love and prayers.
Condolence to the Family of Darla Miller,
There are few experiences more difficult than losing a loved one in death; no doubt Ms. Miller will be sadly missed. I find comfort in knowing death was not God’s purpose for mankind and his purpose has not changed. God’s word is clear, “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:4)
Further, the restoration of life is guaranteed! Jesus not only spoke of the coming resurrection (John 5:21, 28, 29), he himself was resurrected by his Father and performed many miracles. All such miraculous events, including resurrections, took place on earth giving us a precious glimpse of what is to come.......seeing our loved ones again. (Acts 24:15)
May Jehovah God continue to bless your family in the days ahead as you cherish the many fond memories of Ms. Miller....
Aunt Mava, Uncle Larry and girls,
The video was a wonderful tribute to Darla. Every picture was perfect.
I love you all so much, wish I was there with you.
Hugs and kisses to you all and my prayers will be with you all for peace and comfort through this time.
Love, Debra and Bob Crump
Darla was a ray of sunshine!!! Always smiling and laughing!!!! When I think of Darla she is singing and dancing!!! She will be greatly missed. I never worked directly with Darla but I was an employee of Carey Services and saw her there. Loved her!!!
