Wilma I. Shoultz Collins Stirnitzke
April 18, 1926 ~ August 6, 2019
Wilma I. Shoultz Collins Stirnitzke, 93, Marion, went to be with the Lord in her son's home in Rydal, Georgia, at 6:48 pm on Tuesday, August 6, 2019. She was born in Anderson on Sunday, April 18, 1926, to Fredis and Halcie (Preston) Shoultz. She was married to Charles Stirnitzke, who preceded her in death.
Wilma graduated from Anderson High School and was a bookkeeper for nearly 30 years at Frank's Piston Service. She was also a missionary with her husband for five years in Utah. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Since 1989, she researched ancestors and was able to locate 178 ancestors.
Survivors include her sons, Randall Gene (Mary) Collins of Rydal, GA, and John Craig (Judith) Collins of Nineveh; daughter, Michele (Charles) Edwards-Haase of St. Louis, MO; 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren with one on the way; and brother, Jerry Shoultz of Anderson.
In addition to her loving husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Fredis (Halcie) Shoultz; brothers, Eugene D. Shoultz, Jack V. Shoultz, Albert G. Shoultz, Max Shoultz, Norman S. Shoultz, and Dallas Shoultz; sisters, Linda K. Storm and Jane Howard; and son-in-law, Keith Edwards.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Wilma's life will begin at 12:30 pm with burial taking place at Grant Memorial Park.
