Obituary of T. Weesner

T. Jeffrey "Jeff" Weesner

February 4, 1959 ~ August 3, 2019

T. Jeffrey "Jeff" Weesner, 60, of Huntington, formerly of Marion, passed away at 6:45 am on August 3, 2019, at Hickory Creek in Huntington. He was born in Muncie on February 4, 1959, to Thomas and Carol (Deck) Weesner.

Jeff was a member of First United Methodist Church in Marion. He was also a member of the Boy Scouts of America and had attained Eagle Scout status. He was a 1977 graduate of Marion High School, where he was involved in cheerleading, swimming, and wrestling. He also played the tuba in the high school band and then attended IU for two years. Jeff worked at the Marion Post Office for a year and had previously managed Radio Shack in Marion for several years. He enjoyed going to see movies and liked to eat at Nick's Kitchen in Huntington. He also enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his family, especially his children and grandson.

Survivors include his father, Tom Weesner of Marion; two sons, Greg Weesner of Fishers and Drew Weesner of Fort Wayne; grandson, Wyot Weesner; sister, Lori Weesner of Land O' Lakes, FL; brother, Stuart (Jackie) Weesner of Caledonia, MI; plus many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Kay Weesner.

A memorial visitation will take place from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, Jeff’s memorial service will take place at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jason Stanley officiating.
