Edna Ellen Frame, 82, Jonesboro, passed away at 7:01 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, in her home. A lifelong resident of Marion, Edna was born on November 3, 1936, to Charles and Hazel (Robinson) King, and she was proud of her Cherokee heritage.
Edna retired from Glass Containers, where she was a box maker. She loved camping, fishing, wood working, and playing shuffleboard. She also enjoyed listening to Bluegrass, country, and Indian music.
She is survived by her son, Randy (Deb) Felty; daughters, Deb Harris and Sherri (Michael) Persinger; grandchildren, Shannon (Eric) Wolfe, Christy (John) Felty, Austin (Stormy) Felty, Corey Cahue, Roman Helms, Amanda Black, Michael (Donna) Persinger, Alex (Megan) Persinger, Amber (Chris) Hartman, Terah (Chris) Stoops, and Jenny (Michael) McCreary; sister, Barb (Jack) Ice; 11 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Charles (Hazel) King; daughters, Cindy and Terri (Daniel) Moore; son, Timmy; brothers, Richard (Judy) King, Bob (Mary) King, John (Marilyn) King, and Buddy (Betty) King; and sisters, Becky (Bob) Jefferies and Mable King.
The family will have a memorial visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
