Diana. The love you and dave showed to each other during the years i was in your lives was a true example to me of how to love and live. I will never forget those lessons and use them to this day in my own family. Thank you for the way you and dave shaped me. It didnt just affect me but those closest to me now with my own family. You both made a real difference. Thank you.
Dave was a incredible mentor to me and a true father figure. I just found out of his passing and it grips my heart. In a time when i was still growing up he taught me so much. How to laugh. Work. Determination. Dont give up. Loyalty. Love. Family. Friendship. I will truely miss him. He made a real difference in my life. I carry the things he showed me daily in my life and use them. I would not be the man i am if not for dave. Hope to see you soon my friend.
Dave has been a friend since the early 1980's when we met while we were both serving on adjacent County Sheriffs departments.
He later married Linda's sister several years before I met Linda.
Dave was always there for me when I needed his help.
He will be missed daily by many.
Rest in Peace my friend.
Diana , I'm very sorry for your loss. Dave and I spent many times hog hunting, and patrolling for the sheriff's department. Dave as a deputy and I as a reserve deputy. He was a great friend.
Sorry for your lose. I knew Dave from the Sheriff's Department.
I am sorry for your lose and I apologize for being unable to attend the Memorial Visitation.

May you rest in peace with our Lord for eternity.....you have one magnificent daughter in Shari May. You did well, she is loving and caring.......the memory of you will be forever in your family's hearts!
So sorry for your loss Diane. Always enjoyed helping you guys in the Pharmacy. You will be in my prayers.
I worked with Dave for many years at the Sheriff’s Dept while a Jail Officer and Dave ran an Inmate Work Crew. He was always such a non nonsense character and fun to be around! When I became a reserve Deputy, it was Dave bringing us out to his house, range, and gun shop to instruct us.
Dave served his community with distinction, and will be greatly missed!
I am so sorry for your loss Shari and family. Dave was a very good man who gave of himself at all times. I have so many memories of going out to his house and helping with loading ammunition and of you holding the car my mom and dad bought for me. You did a great job of keeping my surprise great. You will be greatly missed by so many. May you rest in peace and I know you had many meet you when you passed. Dad (Andy) and many others that passed from the sheriff's dept and family and friends. You have just joined a great group of Angel's. RIP. David May
I’m sorry to hear about Dave passing. He was a really good guy. Praying for you all.
Dave was more than a brother in law he was a friend. When I moved back to Indiana with 2 boys age 6 and 10, Dave was more than happy to take them under his wing. He taught them both to shoot trap after teaching them gun safety of course, gave them odd jobs to do around his shop and even restored a T Bird with my oldest. I can still hear him say "how bout them apples?'
This man of few words will be missed by many.
Diana, Shari and Layla: My thoughts and prayers are sent your way. Love you all. I am so sorry for your loss.
Kevin and I wanted to let you know our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with the entire family!
I knew Dave from High School. He was a very nice gentleman. I am so very sorry for your loss. I will keep family and friends in my thoughts and prayers.
My thoughts are with Diana and Brian and the family as I am saddened to hear this about Dave. He was an absolute gem, a true friend to many and I can not count the times he helped our family with the purchase and service of our mowers, my sons first car was one of Dave’s beauties! We named her Barbara and she is still cruising around town! The countless car shows attended together and our annual turkey frys! He and Diana always had a bountiful garden and I still love their homemade salsa! Many loving memories together with them. Heaven received a true angel! You will be missed.. until we meet again♥️♥️
I knew Dave many lifetimes ago. I never, ever saw him without a smile on his face. He was a great guy. My condolences to his family.
We believe that the concept of service is of enormous value to individuals, communities, and society in general.
