Obituary of Betty B. Crenshaw
On March 27, 2019, at 7:20 p.m., Betty B. Crenshaw, 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior at Leesburg Regional Medical Center in Florida. Born in Bucklin, Missouri, on January 5, 1935, Betty was the daughter of Bert W. and Florence (West) Adams. She married her loving husband, James “Jim” M. Crenshaw, on August 24, 1951, and he survives.
Betty was a homemaker throughout her life. She faithfully served her husband and family and was such a blessing to them and all who knew her. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Florida.
Betty enjoyed traveling, fishing, playing shuffleboard and cards, square dancing, gardening, watching birds, and working in her flower gardens.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Jim; children: Martha (Ron) Grove, Mary (Joe) Graczyk, Jim (Rexena) Crenshaw, Tim (Stephanie) Crenshaw, and Ruby (Jerry) Smith; brothers, James Adams and Fred Adams; 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jason Crenshaw, and grandson, Nathan Crenshaw.
The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Betty’s funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN. Rev. William Lahrman will be officiating with burial following at Gardens of Memory.
