Just passing through this site and saw that Mike was no longer with us. Years and years since I saw him last but I have many fond memories.
My condolences to Mike's family and friends.
It was always a treat to run into Mike, and never once did we have a dull conversation. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing and would liked to offer my best to his loved ones during this time.
There are few experiences more difficult than losing a loved one in death; no doubt Mr. Tegarden will be sadly missed by all who knew him. May you find comfort in knowing death, sickness & sorrow were not God’s purpose for mankind and his purpose has not changed. His word is clear, “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:4)
Further, Jesus guaranteed the coming resurrection (John 5:21, 28, 29), he performed resurrections and was himself resurrected by his Father. All resurrections took place on earth, giving us a glimpse of what is to come.... seeing our loved ones again! (Acts 24:15)
Until his promises are fulfilled, may Jehovah God continue to bless & comfort you during this difficult time & in the days ahead....
I had not seen T much since we would get together in Knightstown. I will always remember the Euchre, Bridge and Poker games in high school. Plus the goodies T would provide from the Colonel. RIP.
We believe that the concept of service is of enormous value to individuals, communities, and society in general.
