Obituary of Florence L. Castator
Florence L. Castator, 63, 1601 Factory Ave., died at 7:11 a.m. Sunday in her residence.
Mrs. Castator was born in Wabash to the late John and Geneva (Gatchel) Harrell and lived most of her life in Marion. She married James Castator Sr. on March 10, 1973; he survives. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, REACT and CRS. "Mama Hobo" was her CB handle.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Teresa (Robert) Parish, Marion; sons, James (Melissa) Castator Jr., Marion, and Chris (Heather) Castator, Kouts; stepdaughters, Jane Castator, Fairmount, Tamra (Denver) Tiller, Hartford City, and Patricia Julian, Marion; brothers, John (Katie) Brane and David (Lori) Brane, both of Wabash; sisters, Grace (Arnold) Bolden, Wabash, and Janet Howe, Yuma, Ariz.; sister-in-law, Darlene Britt, Marion; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Saltmarsh; and stepfather, Russell Brane.
Services are at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., with the Rev. Lee Tankersly officiating. Burial is in Grant Memorial Park cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today with Eagles service at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.nswcares.com.
