Obituary of Alberta L. Marley

Alberta L. Marley, 78, died Saturday in Marion General Hospital.

She was born in Chugwater, Wy., to Charles and Mary (Howard) Nicely. She lived most of her life in Marion. She married Jess Marley on Nov. 3, 1945. She was a homemaker and a member of the Northeast Church of God.

Survivors include husband, Jess Marley, Marion; sons, Ralph (Marilyn) Marley, Livingston, Texas, David (Elaine) Marley, Kokomo, and Michael (Debra) Marley, Allen, Texas; sisters, Frances Reynolds, Noblesville, and Donna (Nolan) Elliott, Hartford City; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Kenneth Nicely.

Services are at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., with the Rev. Reuben Schweiger officiating. Burial is in Grant Memorial Park cemetery.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
