Obituary of Eileen R. Voght

Eileen R. Voght, 87, 729 W. 35th St., died at 4:55 a.m. Thursday in Wesleyan Health Care Center.

She was born in North Manchester to the late John F. and Goldie (Wright) Rager and had lived in Marion since 1936. She married Clare Voght on June 25, 1936. He died Nov. 2, 1995.

Mrs. Voght retired in 1978 from Fidelity Federal where she was a bookkeeper. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Joe (Wilma) Voght, Marion; grandchildren, Karen (Tom) Zachary, Houston, Texas, Kathy (Joe) Wert, Cindy (Bob) Burchell and Jeff (Cathy) Voght, all of Marion; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by sisters, Lucile Pyle and Dolores Burgard; and a brother, Joe Rager.

Services are at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., with the Rev. Robert Burchell officiating. Burial is in Gardens of Memory cemetery, Huntington County.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Cancer Services of Grant County, Tower Suites, 305 S. Norton St., Marion, Ind. 46953.
