Obituary of Diana Kay Woolums
Diana Kay Woolums, 62, 5936 Arapaho Trail, died at 4:23 a.m. Sunday in Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis.
She was born in Upland, the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Watson) Tomlinson. She was a homemaker and she loved her grandchildren. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Women's Auxiliary, Fort Wayne. She loved to read and crochet.
Survivors include husband, Tim Woolums; sons, Tim (Heather) Woolums Jr., Park City, Ill., Chuck (Sonja) Woolums, Muncie, Kevin (Alanna) Woolums, Round Lake, Ill., and John (Amanda) Woolums, Fort Wayne; a daughter, Michelle (David) Eck, Fort Wayne; siblings, Larry Tomlinson, Muncie, Dorothy Waggy and Joyce (Gary) Barnett, both of Gas City, Barbara Green, Marion, and Betty Ruth Bingham, Anderson; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by brothers, John Jr., William "Billy", Jimmy and Jerry; and two sisters, Phyllis Smith and Patty.
Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, with Dr. David L. Perry officiating. Burial is in Jefferson Cemetery, Upland.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
