Obituary of Sandy Pattison

Sandy Pattison, 60, died at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

She was born in Moorehead, Ky., and lived in Gas City for more than 30 years. She and her husband, Max, have been together for more than 27 years. She was self-employed in home health care. She formerly worked at Glass Containers in Gas City. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 95 in Jonesboro. She attended Muncie Central High School. She was a NASCAR fan, loved to travel and bowl. She loved to spend time with her grandkids.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her father, Stanley R. Brannon, Gas City; daughters, Denise Sheets, Anderson, and Terri (Kenny) Potter, Louisville, Ky., brothers, Raymond Poston and Russell (Tina) Poston, both of Marion; sisters, LuLu (Gerald) Loftus, Gas City, and Judy Ann (Frank) Sinclair, Marion; and four grandchildren, Dustin and Brittany Sheets, Kelsey Skaggs, and Ashley Gilbert.

A brother, George Poston, preceded her in death.

Services are at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., with Pastor Mark Perry officiating.

Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, and from 11 a.m. until services Saturday at the funeral home.
