Obituary of Richard A. Bosquez
Richard A. Bosquez, 69, Marion, died at 7:10 p.m. Friday at home.
He was born in Devine, Texas, to the late Guadalupe and Victoria (Acosta) Bosquez. He had lived in Marion most of his life. He was a Korean War Army veteran. He married Ermendina Bosquez on May 21, 1956. She survives.
Mr. Bosquez retired from the Marion General Motors plant in 1997 after 25 years. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and he loved spending time with his family.
Also surviving are children, Richard Bosquez Jr., Anna (Joe) Arce, Cynthia (Steve) McGriff, Esperanza (Martin) Ortiz, Wally (Jackie) Bosquez, Enelda (Felipe) Ortega and Mariza (Darby) Clemons, all of Marion, and Ronnie (Diane) Bosquez, Jonesboro; sisters, Frances (Ernest) Pompa, San Antonio, Texas, and Aurora San Miguel, Dilley, Texas; brother, Wally (Lydia) Bosquez, San Antonio; 37 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hanfield United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Donald Moon officiating. Burial is in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., with a 6 p.m. rosary service.
