Obituary of Mary Leona Hatton

Mary Leona Hatton, 79, died at 10:58 p.m. Monday in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

She was born in Athens, Ala. to the late John William and Cassandra (White) Duggar. She married Eulie Hatton on Oct. 15, 1946. He died March 22, 1988.

She retired from RCA/Thomson, formerly of Marion, and was a member of Woodland Hills Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading and loved her dog, "Killer."

Survivors include children, James (Karen) Mealer, Nappanee, Karen (Jack) Miller, Alexandria, and Richard (Connie) Hatton, LaFontaine; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services are at 10 a.m. Friday in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave. Burial is in Grant Memorial Park cemetery.

Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Marion-Grant County Humane Society, 2768 W. Avon Ave., Marion, Ind. 46953.
