Obituary of Lowell D. Dill

Lowell D. Dill, 80, Converse, died at 10:17 a.m. Wednesday in Howard Regional Health System, Kokomo.

He was born in Jackson Township in Howard County to the late Emory L. and Gladys B. (Stephens) Dill and was a life resident of Jackson Township. He married Mary Jane Raymont on Dec. 27, 1947. He was a 1942 graduate of Jackson Township High School. He was a retired farmer and a member of Converse Church of Christ and former deacon. He was an avid Cubs fan.

Survivors include wife, Mary Jane Dill, Converse; daughter, Patty (Chuck) Pavey, Denver, Ind.; sons, David (Polly) Dill, Greentown, and Roger (Stacey) Dill, Muncie; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He also was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Metzger Barrett; and brother, Ramon Dill.

Services are at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Converse Church of Christ with the Rev. Rob Schwarze officiating. Burial is in Converse Cemetery.

Visitation is from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.

Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Rybolt Chapel, 314 N. Washington St., Swayzee, is handling arrangements.
