Orpha Opal (Sweat) Holloway died at 1 a.m. Saturday in her son's home in Swayzee.
She was born in Sharps Chapel, Tennessee to the late George T. and Easter (Longmire) Sweat.
She married Hermon R. Holloway on Dec. 22, 1933, he preceded her in death on April 7, 1999. She was a member of Taylors Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Swayzee.
Survivors include children, Margie Allen, Converse, Rose Ann (Dewey) Hargrove, Decatur, Ala., Taylor (Susan) Holloway, Swayzee; brothers, Jessie L. Sweat, Dayton, Tenn., Brice M. Sweat, Tucson, Ariz., Verlin Sweat, Harriman, Tenn., Houston Sweat, Wartburg, Tenn.; sisters, Bonnie B. Jones, Minnie White, both of Oak Ridge, Tenn., Lucy L. Sweat, Oliver Springs, Tenn.; grandchildren, Joan Swain, Mark, TJ, Kevin, Calvin, Matthew and John Holloway, Ruth McCarty, Jimmy Allen, Yuvonne Worrell, Joey and Sam Holloway; 17 great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; children, J. Will, Palmer and Pauline Holloway; four brothers; and two sisters.
Services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Rybolt Chapel, 314 N. Washington St., Swayzee, with Manasseh Gillam officiating. Burial is in Thrailkill Cemetery, Swayzee.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service Tuesday in the funeral home.
