On Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at 10 p.m., Ronald Jay Mullins, from Gas City, passed away at Marion General Hospital. He was 58 years old.
Ronald was born in Hazard, Kentucky, on August 15, 1960, to James and Billie Sue (Smith) Mullins. He graduated from Marion High School in 1978 and drove for Jet Express the past 30 years. He previously worked at Hi-Way and Jerry’s Drive-In. He enjoyed riding his Harley and had participated in numerous rides with the Legion Riders. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends, and he will be remembered as an outgoing man who never met a stranger.
Survivors include his son, Nick (Caroline) Mullins, Marion; brother, Mike (Julie) Mullins, Marion; nephews, Chris (Courtney) Mullins and Danny (Shayna) Mullins; several cousins and friends; and his dog, Bear.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Ronald’s funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN. Pastor Marcus Combs will be officiating with burial following at Estates of Serenity in Marion.
