In the early morning hours on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, Anna R. Berg exchanged her earthly body for a heavenly body when she went to be with the Lord.
Born in Waukegan, IL, on June 25, 1931, Anna was the daughter of the late Frank L. and Ida May Morgan. She graduated from Mississinewa High School in 1950 and worked in the banking industry, where she was a supervisor. Anna was a member of First Christian Church in Gas City.
Survivors include her children: Mike Gore, Chicago, IL; Kathryn (Tim) Bennett, Marion; and Johnathan M. (Megan) Berg, Gas City; grandchildren: Brandon Massey, Anthony Berg, Luke Berg, Lilly Berg, Jason Berg, and Chris Berg; sister, Freda Daubenspeck; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and good friends, Janita, Anita, and Marie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, William and Bryce, and four sisters, Thelma, Martha, Vickie, and Mary.
The family will have a memorial visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. with Anna’s memorial service beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
