Dear Lib and family,
I sorrow with you in your loss of the wonderful vibrant Dr. Bob. He is very much alive in our hearts and memories. I know he is rejoicing with Jesus, face to face.
I was so sorry to learn of the death of Uncle Bob. He was a tremendous man of God. He will be greatly missed. My love to all the family.
What a great man! We only had the privilege of being around Dr. McIntyre a few times at family events, but the love that this dear pastor had for his family and friends, and they for him, was apparent. Our prayers for God's continued blessings and peace go out to this very special family.

We are sad you left us and at same time we are comforted that you are with our Lord at His House in Heaven.
It almost a fairytale for our path crossed almost four decades ago. You have been the guiding light in our life ever since then. You lead us found our lord, and settled in this free and democratic country.
Remembered you taught us "cozy" when we looking for an affordable apartment very first time; you made your home our shelter where we knew always can turn to; you made us part of the family, and not only help us through our college successfully, you also mentored our children, provided grandparents' guidance and love them! We are externally grateful, and blessed for having you in our life. Your love, teaching and kindness will be always remembered! Love you very much, Dad!!!

Ross and I would like to extend to you our most heartfelt sympathy on the passing of Dr. McIntyre.
You may remember that we were neighbors on Peace Avenue in Brooksville for several years.
Dr. McIntyre will be remembered by us as an esteemed Christian gentleman. He was revered by all who were privileged to know him, and he will be truly missed.
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Sincerely, Ross and Betty Powers, Riverview, New Brunswick Canada
So very sorry for this great loss. What a special gifted man. I worked next to the GS offices when I worked as Directory Service and HQ. Enjoyed encounters with Dr. McIntyre. Prayers for all the family, and for comfort and peace. Heaven gained a great one yesterday!
Dr. Bob was my first boss when I came to Marion College. I worked in the WYPS office that was upstairs over a store in South Marion. The office was there until the Headquarters building south on Hwy 37 was built. I always admired Dr. Bob very highly and have had a warm relationship with him, Lib, and the family over these 60+ years. Our thoughts and prayers are with Lib and the family during these days of parting.
Dr. Robert McIntyre, as general superintendent, drove from Marion to Evansville, Indiana, on July 4, 1976 to ordain me in the local church when my district would not because I had a wedding ring. This was just one of the examples of his servant/leadership I saw as a young youth pastor and then as a director at Wesleyan HQ. He was truly a "good and faithful servant," who will be missed in the Wesleyan Church and beyond. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and the Wesleyan Church family.
We want to express our deepest sympathy to the McIntyre family. Dr McIntyre was a giant of the faith. We love and appreciate him greatly for his ministry that extends around the world as well as to us personally. Our prayers are with you all.
To the Family of Dr. Robert McIntyre, my wife Lois and I send personal condolences to Lib and loved ones of the home going of our special brother in ministry, Dr. Bob. My best memory: his support and friendship throughout our years of service to our denomination. Praying for God's comfort in the coming days.
My condolence to the family & friends of Robert McIntyre. It is obvious from the kind expressions that he will be fondly remembered. As you cherish the many memories, reflect on the time when sickness & death will be conditions of the past! (Revelation 21:3,4; 1Corinthians 15: 26) This is a promise made by our loving God Jehovah & Jesus Christ guaranteed the hope of seeing our loved ones again. (John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 26:19)
May God’s word, the thoughts & prayers of others & the many fond memories comfort you each day, as we await the fulfillment of His promises! (Joshua 23:14)
Dear Lib and Family,
We remember with great fondness our association with you and Bob over the 60 years we have known you. I (Herb) grew up in the Glens Falls, NY Wesleyan Methodist Church. Our family moved to Houghton to work for the College. We were married in 1964 (Sheila and I) and moved to Allentown, PA. Attending United Wesleyan College we took our first pastorate in Shippensburg, PA. Over the years our paths have crossed in many places. We will never forget our trip to Israel together in 1978, for the Jerusalem Conference on the teachings of our Lord where I was the photographer. When we pastored in Muskegon, MI, our delight on Sunday was to see you in the Worship service when you were passing through on your vacation on several occasions. WE TREASURE YOUR FRIEDSHIP and the great example you both were of Godliness, a Holy Life, a committed marriage and mentor. THANK YOU FOR YOU, AND BEING THERE FOR US ! Herb & Sheila Hartman, York, PA .
My wife Gloria joins me in extending our sincere condolence on the passing of "Dr. Bob".
One of the honours of my life was to be elected General Superintendent in 1988 as successor to Dr. McIntyre. I was humbled to be elected in the shadow of this very significant church leader and fully devoted follower of Christ.
The General Superintendents Emeriti met at IWU last year and Dr. Bob's stories and his wit were in fine order. It was a memorable occasion to be sure.
Lib, Gloria sends her warmest greetings and sympathy to you.
Want to express our sincere condolences to the family at the loss of your loved one. (Worked with Liz briefly in early '70's at IWU when I worked in Advancement office there for a year.).
Love and Prayers to family.
I am so sorry to have heard of your loss. I have good memories of Judy, Joy, and John and know them. I have all the family and friends in my thoughts and prayers.
