William "Bill" R. Perdue, 72, Banquo, died in his home at 3:07 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018. He was born in Marion on January 17, 1946, to the late Raymond and Ruth (Pfeiffer) Perdue.
Bill retired from Foster-Forbes, where he was a mold maker. He loved his grandchildren and was always doing something with them. He was interested in anything that pertained to Corvettes, and he was an avid sports fan. He especially followed the Purdue Boilermakers, New York Yankees, and Indianapolis Colts. Bill attended Christland United Methodist Church in Marion.
He is survived by his children, Kyle (Renee) Perdue, Andrews, and Joe (Toni) Perdue, Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Cody, Emily, and Ryan Perdue; sister, Judy (Paul) Whitehurst, Virginia; niece, Kimberly (Crist) Dauberman, Virginia; nephew, Brad (Heather) Whitehurst, West Virginia; and several cousins.
The family will receive visitors from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Services to celebrate Bill's life will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park.
