Also live in Banquo. Farm right across road from Bill. Always enjoyed his smile
& waves as we worked in field across the road. Sad to lose a good neighbor.
Thoughts are with his family.
I'm really going to miss the little guy. We grew up together, played together, worked together, and teased each other unmercifully all our lives. we were always there for each other, so very sorry that I can't be there now as we are in Florida. But please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. He was one of the BEST!
My husband and I worked with Bill at UTEC in Huntington, and also he worked with my father and brother in law at FosterForbes. He would tell me stories of my father that he remembered which was very sweet since I didn’t hear these stories before. I’m very sorry for your loss and my prayers are with the family.
Condolence to the Family of William Perdue,
It is obvious from the many kind expressions that Mr. Perdue will be sadly missed. I find comfort in knowing death was not God’s purpose for mankind and his purpose has not changed. God’s word is clear, “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:4)
Further, the restoration of life is guaranteed! Jesus not only spoke of the coming resurrection (John 5:21, 28, 29), he himself was resurrected by his Father and performed many miracles. All such miraculous events, including resurrections, took place on earth giving us a precious glimpse of what is to come.......seeing our loved ones again. (Acts 24:15)
May Jehovah God continue to bless your family during this difficult time and in the days ahead......
I went all through school with Bill. The school set up a speaker in our class room so he could hear and speak to us. So quit often he was just a voice, but we all knew him.
As an adult I see clearly what God was teaching me through the struggles Bill had with polio. He didn’t complain, and smiled. He was a great example of exceptance. I’m sorry for your loss and pray God will comfort you. Bill was a blessing to many people.
First met Bill in September of 1960 where we were students at Washington Junior High School together.
Understood that Bill was a really good athlete in his younger years and can certainly vouch that he was a kind and selfless friend throughout his adult life.
Saddened to learn about Bill's passing and wish prayers to him and his family for a life well lived.
Dearest Kyle and Family, we here at Beltone Hearing Center of Marion are truly devastated over the loss of our dear friend Bill. Bill was just in our office Tuesday 2/6/2018 and was as happy as I have ever seen him. Oh how he loved those three grand children and never stopped talking about them and you every time he walked in the office. I just wanted to send a condolence on behalf of Beltone and also a personal one from me. Bill was a lovely gentleman and a great family oriented man. Every time he walked in the door he would tell me it was one day closer to the holiday beef and noodles that he worshiped and I would always laugh. I wish you all warmth and wellness in your time of morning and we, I, will miss Bill tremendously!! God Bless, Tracy Myers PCC Marion Beltone

Deepest sympathies to the family of Bill. He was a wonderfully kind and generous man. We worshipped together and I came to respect and admire the man he was. He always had a smile on his face, always had a kind word for everyone he met. A true servant of The Lord! I know Bill you are in heaven rejoicing with Christ. And I know you heard, Well done good and faithful servant, well done!
