Obituary of Alainee Byer

Alainee Maelynn Byer, 13, Jonesboro, passed away at 2:29 a.m. on Sunday, February 4, 2018. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on May 18, 2004, and the daughter of Anthony and Alyssa (Dickey) Byer.

Alainee was the typical teenager who enjoyed getting her hair and nails done, loved to go shopping and to the movies, and always looked forward to her summer trips to the amusement park with her dad. She is survived by her father, Anthony Byer, Marion; mother, Alyssa Byer, Jonesboro; brothers, Alekzander (Samantha) Byer and Alton (Lyndsay) Byer; maternal grandmother, Cathy L. Kelly, Gas City; maternal grandfather, James Dickey, Ohio; paternal grandmother, Ricky (Mike) Tucker, Marion; maternal great-grandmother, Louise Oswalt, Ohio; nephew, Aydan Byer; and uncles, Jason (Josie) Dickey and family, Ohio, Robin Byer and family, Marion, Nick Byer and family, Marion, and Lukus Tucker, Marion. She is also survived by her many special and loved friends.

Preceding her in death were her paternal grandfather, Kerry Byer, and paternal great-grandmother, Darlene "Nan" Hudson.

The family will receive visitors from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
