so sorry to hear that pat passed away. she was a great lady and we will miss her at church. she was a great lady that we all loved and will miss her, hugs and prayers to her family
Pat was such a wonderful friend. We loved her humor so much. Her kindness and compassion to all was unwavering. We attended Gethsemane Episcopal church in Marion while we lived in Gas City. Although we have moved to Tennessee for ten years now, we miss our old friends and especially Pat. Whenever we visited we hoped we would see her at church. She spoke of her family all the time and you could see the love she had for all of them. I know she will be missed by many, but I also know she loved the Lord and she is resting in his arms now. Our deepest sympathy to the family! We celebrate her life and what she did for family and for the community. I know she will be missed. God Bless her family!
Condolence to the Family of Patsy Smith,
It is obvious from the kind expressions that Mrs. Smith will be sadly missed. There is comfort in knowing death was not God’s purpose for mankind and his purpose has not changed. God’s word is clear, “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:4)
Further, the restoration of life is guaranteed! Jesus not only spoke of the coming resurrection (John 5:21, 28, 29), he himself was resurrected by his Father and performed many miracles. All such miraculous events, including resurrections, took place on earth giving us a precious glimpse of what is to come.......seeing our loved ones again. (Acts 24:15)
May Jehovah God continue to bless your family in the days ahead as you cherish the many fond memories of Mrs. Smith.....
Pat will be dearly missed. She was a very good friend and mentor to me over years that I knew her. Her whole family is in my prayers including her Gethsemane family. May God bless you and watch over you thru this very hard time.
Carter, Karen, Courtney & Stephanie: We are so sorry to hear about Pat. We remember your family from St. Paul Episcopal Church in Gas City and Gethsemane Episcopal Church in Marion. Pat was a very nice and dear lady. She was "a true Episcopalian" who was deeply committed to her church and serving the Lord. We send you our condolences and prayers. May God bless your family with His peace during your time of loss. Janet, Emilie & Susan Gilbert
Our condolences to your entire family. A lot of time spent by Ron chatting around her kitchen table in high school. Fond memories.
Heaven gained an angel...she will be missed.
Sending love and prayers for the family. Patsy was a wonderful person, I always enjoyed being around her. I'm sure she will be missed. Peace be with you all.
So sadden by the news of Pat’s passing, my heart breaks for Chris, Vickie, Valeria, Carter and each of their families. My heart also breaks knowing the last of the Walden Drive legacy is no longer!
The Smith family was a huge part of my childhood, teenage years and adulthood, I will always hold tight to those memories.
I love you all!
