Rick was a very nice person and a very professional Engineer. I cannot forget whenever I visited ITP2 he always asked about the coffee. One day I really surprised when I saw him studying text book and he told me that he want to finish his MBA.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Joyce and Family,
My heart goes out to you all. In working with Rick for the past 6 years we have grown very close. He was a loyal friend, mentor, and we always had each other's back when it felt like it was us against the world in the Plant. He also was a wonderful role model and always had a wonderful disposition. Even to people that he was not real fond of. I know how much he loved all of you. Him and I would talk about our families just about every night. I am going to miss my friend dearly. But I figure that God had bigger plans for a man like Rick Hodson, because he was definitely one of a kind.
Thoughts and prayers to you all,
We are very sorry for your loss Rick was a good man my heart hurts for you Joyce and your family

We are sorry you and your family are going through this tragic time. I have prayed for all of you and will continue to do so. There are no words that will ease the pain right now; leaning on God is our port in the storm. It is impossible to make sense of what doesn’t make sense and faith is sorely tested. There is a tremendous void left by Rick’s passing. I pray your love of God, your family, and your friends will ease your burden.
With sincere sympathy,
Richard and Faye
To the family of Rick Hodson:
So very sorry to hear about your loss. I met Rick in 2004 when I transferred to ITP 1 from the New Castle Chrysler plant. I had the opportunity to work with Rick, a very good Toolmaker, for a few years before he became an engineer. Having been a Toolmaker myself before becoming an engineer, we worked well together in the transmission assembly department. I remember Rick worked many overtime hours both as a Toolmaker and as a Tool Engineer. I retired in 2015 and I know Rick was looking forward so much to his retirement in 2018.
May you rest in peace Rick.
My deepest condolences to the family on the loss of Rick Hodson. He was a dedicated engineer and will be sadly missed. May God bless his soul and he rest in peace. Thoughts and prayers to all who loved him.
Rick was the nicest guy to work with, I will miss Rick very much. Rick talked a lot about how much he loved his family. My thoughts and prays are with his family.
It is with heartfelt compassion that I share God's guarantee regarding death and a resurrection as recorded for us in the Bible. Whether we have religious beliefs or not, the fact is we are all faced with the same problems, including death. Death has always been in our future but this was not God's purpose for mankind. Psalm 34:18 says, "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." The Bible assures us that God does care about our pain and grief; so much so that He says 'death is an enemy' and promises it will be 'brought to nothing'. (1Corinthians 15:26) Further, Revelation 21:3,4 says 'death will be no more'. He promises that our loved ones who have died the hope of the restoration of life or as one definition says, "the state of one risen from the dead". Jesus spoke of the resurrection at John 5:21, 28, 29. Jesus himself was resurrected by his Father and performed many miracles including resurrections when here on earth.
So know that while we experience the grief and sadness because of death that God is a promise keeper and we will have the prospect of seeing our loved ones again which not only provides hope for the future but benefits us even now!
May God bless your family and friends of the deceased in the coming days......
Rick will be sadly missed here at chrysler. He was a joy to work with. You are all in my prayers
