Betty F. Miller, 94, Syracuse, passed away at 9:50 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2018, at Harbour Manor Health and Living Community in Noblesville. She was born in Grant County (Liberty Township) on July 7, 1923, to the late Floyd and Marguerite (Van Ness) Hamilton. On November 26, 1941, Betty married David Miller, and he preceded her in death in 2002.
Betty retired from Dick and Co. Meat Packing in 1974 and had previously worked at First National Bank in Mishawaka. She loved to golf and play Bridge, but she especially loved spending time with her family.
She will be missed by her son, Jerry (Pam) Miller, Geneva, Florida; daughter, Lou Ann (Kurt) Geiselhart, Langhorne, Pennsylvania; sisters, Jean Bramel, Summitville, and Mary Lou (Bill) Farrer, Greentown; grandsons, David (Lindsey) Geiselhart, Noblesville, and Brian Geiselhart, Westfield; and great-grandson, Kenneth Geiselhart.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Howard and Harold Hamilton, and a daughter, Dea Jane Miller.
The family will receive visitors from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018, Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Rybolt Chapel, 314 N. Washington St., Swayzee, IN.
Services to celebrate Betty's life will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2018, with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will follow at Knox Chapel in Point Isabel.
