Patsy "Pat" J. Carl
February 29, 1932 ~ February 7, 2018
Patsy "Pat" J. Carl, 85, Marion, went to be with Jesus at 6:34 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Riverview Hospital, Noblesville. She was born on February 29, 1932, in Wells County to the late Thomas W. and Mabel L. (Uffert) Miller. On June 5, 1953, Pat married Richard E. Carl, and he preceded her in death on March 7, 2009.
Pat retired from RCA in 1984 after 22 years. Prior to her employment with RCA, Pat worked at Tipton Hospital and Marion General Hospital. She was also a tax aid volunteer for AARP. Pat was a very private person but was also the first one to lend a helping hand. She loved her grandsons and loved attending their school activities and sporting events.

Survivors include her sons, Douglas E. (Jackie) Carl, Marion, and Bruce R. Carl, Noblesville; grandsons, Blake D. Carl, Marion, and Jackson R. Carl, Carmel; several nieces and nephews and special nephew and niece, Dr. Tom Miller and Denise Miller, Noblesville; and sister-in-law, Susie Miller, Marion.
In addition to her parents and husband, Pat was preceded in death by brothers, Clyde R. Miller and Paul F. Miller, and two sisters, Helen Courter and Mary A. King.
Family and friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Lakeview Wesleyan Church, 5316 S. Western Avenue, Marion. A funeral service to celebrate Pat's life will begin at 1 p.m. immediately following visitation with Rev. Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will follow in Park Cemetery, Fairmount, Indiana.
