Aron Paul Wilson, 34, Noblesville, Indiana, died in his home on Monday, November 6, 2017. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on December 10, 1982, to Don P. Wilson and Mary A. Pierson.
Aron graduated from Mississinewa High School in 2001. He later enlisted in the United States Air Force where he was stationed at Vandenberg AFB. He served two tours, one in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. He then continued his service in the Indiana Air National Guard as a Tech Sergeant and, most recently, spent four months in Germany.
Aron met his wife, Tara, in 2006, and they married on July 26, 2008. They were blessed with two amazing boys, Keian and Declan. Aron truly loved spending time with his boys, especially playing video games, Imaginext battles, practicing sports, and wrestling with them. He loved playing basketball, poker, and following his favorite teams—Miami Dolphins, Notre Dame football, IU basketball, and the Chicago Cubs.
In addition to his wife, Tara, and two sons, Keian and Declan, Aron is survived by his father, Don (Sherry Cawthorn), Fairmount; mother, Mary (David) Pierson, Jonesboro; grandparents, Martha Claxon, Fairmount, and Roger (Joanna) Lee, Gas City; mother-in-law, Lesa Cota, Gas City; father-in-law, Mario (Rose) Cota, California; sister-in-law, Felecia Fannin, Gas City; and sister, Alicia Davidson, Warsaw. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Charlene Sherron, Donald R. Sherron, and James Claxon; aunt, Rita Underwood; and uncle, Donald R. Sherron, Jr..
The family will receive visitors from 12-2 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
Aron's funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Fairmount.
