Carol L. Hall, 57, passed away in her Marion home at 6:35 a.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2017. She was born in Marion on March 11, 1960, to Troy and Gracia (McDowell) Miller and lived all of her life in the Marion area. On August 10, 1980, Carol married her sweetheart, Tony R. Hall, and he survives.
Carol had been a cook at Rolling Meadows in LaFontaine for 14 years until she retired. Each opportunity she had, she spent time with her grandchildren. They were her life. She enjoyed fishing and having her dog, Betsy, by her side.
In addition to her husband, Tony, of 37 years, Carol is survived by her father, Troy (Sharon) Miller, daughters, Summer Hall, Anderson, Amy (Michael) Hale, Marion, and Tara Hall, Marion; brothers, Tony Miller, Michigan, and Greg Miller, Tennessee; grandchildren, Mikey Hale, Jr., Marion, Emma Evans, Anderson, Willow Hubbs, Greenwood, Eli Hale, Marion, Skylar Ray Williams, Marion; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Gracia Miller; mother- and father-in-law, Roberta (Clarence) Hall; and two brothers-in-law, Glen Lee Hall and Keith Roberts.
The family will receive visitors from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Services to celebrate Carol's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at the funeral home with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
It was Carol's desire that any memorial contributions be directed to Riley Children's Foundation, 30 S. Meridian St., Ste. 200, Indianapolis, IN 46204-3509.
